Life is authentically messy. Relationships are hard, families are complicated, loss is painful, and parenting presents new challenges every day. As we go through life, events can happen to or around us that cause a disruption to our journey. Whether it be the loss of a job, a relationship, a loved one, a trauma, a difficult transition into marriage or parenthood, or even the realization that life just isn’t what you hoped it would be. Therapy is one way to help you accept, manage and even embrace the messiness of life.
I love what I do. I feel blessed every day to be given the opportunity to work with people of all different backgrounds, perspectives, and life circumstances to find a happier way of living. I believe the greatest gift you can give yourself and those you love (or hope to love) is to find peace within yourself, with your history, and with the things that have happened to you so you can look forward.
I have a passion for working with new mothers dealing with postpartum anxiety and depression or just trying to figure out their new normal. I also know what it is to grieve the loss of a loved one. Grief is a universal experience but one in which no one is ever truly prepared for. If you are dealing with any of these transitions and you don’t want to do it alone or you no longer want to pretend you “have it all together,” I am here for you.
